From Death to Life: Overflowing Blessings

Our new birth, along with our renewed hearts and nature, unleashes an abundance of God’s blessings. As Ephesians 1:3-6, ESV declares, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved".
As children of God, we are not left to scramble for life’s leftovers—we are invited to feast at the table of the King of the Universe (John 1:12, NIV; Psalm 23:5, NIV). What was once darkness is now light (Ephesians 5:8, NIV). What was once imperfect is now made perfect (Hebrews 10:14, NIV). What was once death has become life (Romans 6:4, NIV). Sin has been replaced with righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21, NIV). Separation from God has turned into full acceptance in His presence (Ephesians 2:13, NIV).
And this is just the beginning of what is available to us in Christ. God’s love is so profound that He orchestrated everything necessary to restore us to Himself (2 Corinthians 5:18-19, NIV). Though we were lost in sin, we were never lost in His plan of redemption (Romans 5:8, NIV). The Father loved us so much that He was willing to pay the ultimate price to reconcile us to Himself (John 3:16, NIV). He desires a deep, personal, and intimate relationship with each of us—a free gift, waiting to be received (Ephesians 2:8-9, NIV).
